Let me give you a few hints first:
Tip 1. One of the world's largest exporters of apples
Tip 2. Joined the European Union in 2004
Tip 3. Movies "The Pianist" and "Ida"
Guess it? It doesn’t matter if you don’t know yet. Here are a few key hints for you:
Tip 4. Hometown of Copernicus, Chopin, Marie Curie
Tip 5. Embarrassed(???) Hey~no way!
That's right!!! The following country we are heading to is Poland. OIA is very honored to invite Dr. Tobiasz Targosz, a teacher from the Department of Sinology of Jagiellonian University, the oldest university in Poland, to bring you a better understanding of this country, which had a miserable fate during World War II.
In addition to history and culture, Dr. Tobiasz Targosz will also teach us some Polish phrases that you can travel in Poland after you learn them (p.s. Polish is one of the most difficult languages in the world). Want to fly to Poland but not because of embarrassment? Then you'll need to attend this lecture.
